Post by: _ThEcRoW on January 22, 2006, 03:42:17 PM
Hello, i have an Archos pcmcia CDRW 4x4x32 drive from an old laptop and i want to know if it would work for the amiga 1200.
In case afirmative, is needed a special driver or something like that?. It would be cool to have this unit working on my miggy.
Thanks in advance!!!!

I had just such a unit on my A1200 back in the days so affirmative on the fact that it'll work on the Amiga, however I'm a bit unclear on how I got it to work other than that it need some kind of driver.

I found the install software (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?product=cd&company=archos) for your hardware on amiga Harware Database.  :-D

Great!!! Thanks a lot mate!!!!. I had the idea of putting it in the 1200 because the old laptop i used with it, is now less used, and the drive was stored. Now i can have a cdrom on the 1200.
Thanks!!!!!
