Amiga 2000 Motherboard resistor packs
« on: June 15, 2021, 08:11:06 AM »
Hi all,

Can any one help me identify what the resistor packs are on a B2000 V4.3 motherboard? Specifically the one at RP900 next to the CPU socket. See pic.

And where can I get new ones as I need to replace at least one of them.

Thanks in advance.

10k ohm

Also, they look like isolated arrays. Meaning each leg is commoned to first pin, to make sperate resistors.

Perfect. Thanks for the links.

After checking continuity and finding no broken traces I decided to pull Agnus from the socket. I don't have a chip puller so to avoid damaging the socket I managed to push the chip out by gently pushing a rod in the holes underneath the socket. A thorough clean with isopropyl alcohol of the socket and the chip. Reseated Agnus. Powered on an bingo I get the insert floppy boot screen! machines has function for more than 5 years and now its up and running. Installed GVP hard card with SCSI drive, CD ROM, Gotek, Picasso II, Flicker fixer and CSA Magnum 40/4 040 CPU board.

All working except the CSA SCSI. No autoboot hence why I have the GVP card installed which works fine.

Best.
