Syndicate Game Controls
« on: October 14, 2010, 08:06:17 PM »
Hi, I am trying to play this game and pretty much I understood how it works. However there is one thing which I am not sure about. When you enter in a building, is there a command so that you can see the internals of that building? At the moment I am lost when one of my agents enters in a building.

Anyone who used to play the game knows something about this?

The building view is a bit of an irritating thing. You pretty much have  to use the little radar screen, or crank up the intelligence rating of the agent so he'll defend himself.

Yup, the building view is a PITA.... runequester hit it on the head.

Or, if you just have to kill the occupants of the building, 4 rounds from a Gauss Gun is quicker.... :destroy: LOL!

runequester: Not sure what to tell you about your load/save issue. In my case, only the WHDLoad version of Syndicate works 100%..... might want to try that...

I'll give that a shot. It seems to save fine, but if I restart the game, thheres no save games to be found.

I have never had problems running the game from my A500. Even installed on HD. Saving games always worked flawless.. On A 1200 i had to remember to boot with no startup, ocs/ecs mode, then it worked fine. But i have never had any problems with saving syndicate. And i always play as "rob a bank".. :D

Pyrre;

'rob a bank' is good, as are 'marks team' or 'coper team' or 'own them'  :laughing:

marcfrick2112,

How does this run on your A4000 with Warpenging if you dont mind me asking. I have it installed using WHDLoad and it feels as if it's running a tad fast, but no mater what I do I can't slow it down. Not sure if the A500 was slower as a result of being slightly under powered?

RMK305, sorry about the late reply...
As for Syndicate, it will run a bit fast on any miggy with a decent accelerator. On my '060 1200T it SMOKES.... (Those agents will have heart attacks if they don't slow down.... :roflmao:)
If the game runs a bit fast, you could try turning off caches, burst, etc. .... using e.g. Degrader, or CPU-Control. (Aminet)

Even on my 030, the game runs pretty fast. Gets rather hectic but its very playable, and it does crawl a bit on a 020 or 000.

Thanks guys. I had a feeling it was a mixture of it running a tad slow on the A500 and a tad too fast on the A4000.
