These are as rare as hens teeth and generally sell for about $10,000 on eBay when they do pop up there.

if anyone has 10 grand for one i could build, i mean find, a replica, i mean a c65.

the motherboard would be a "super rare" "prototype" that just happens to look like a pico-itx :)

If you needed spare parts you might be able to find compatible / exchangeable components in a Commodore 64, but I doubt many Commodore 65's would even exist.

Unfortunately custom chips (Bill, Victor and Dmagic) are very very different from C64's. :(

try posting on lemon64.com Carlo...there are alot of commy collectors there but like Red said..the C65 is mythical territory in the 8 bit world and demands MOLTO LIRI nowadays to get one!..good luck and please keep us informed here...some pictures of yours would be greatly appreciated too  :-)
