These are as rare as hens teeth and generally sell for about $10,000 on eBay when they do pop up there.

if anyone has 10 grand for one i could build, i mean find, a replica, i mean a c65.

the motherboard would be a "super rare" "prototype" that just happens to look like a pico-itx

If you needed spare parts you might be able to find compatible / exchangeable components in a Commodore 64, but I doubt many Commodore 65's would even exist.

Unfortunately custom chips (Bill, Victor and Dmagic) are very very different from C64's.

try posting on lemon64.com Carlo...there are alot of commy collectors there but like Red said..the C65 is mythical territory in the 8 bit world and demands MOLTO LIRI nowadays to get one!..good luck and please keep us informed here...some pictures of yours would be greatly appreciated too  :-)

The question is Carlo, are you prepared to spend the thousands of $ for said machine/parts? LOL
