Title: Winuae formatting amiga & non amiga drives

Hi I have tried to format a 4gb drive using Winuae. I have followed Thomas's directions. We can get HD tool box to resize the partitions, & create new icons. The problem is when we go to format each parition & rename eg Workbench then go to format, it behaves normally issuing warnings that data will be lost, we move on do you really want to do this, yes then the machine freezes. Any help would be appreciated. I am running Amiga Forever 2009.
