Can anyone identify this SCSI cart for me?

I check the big book of hw & had no luck...

Says Amiga SCSI 2.0 on the board...



sorry the image is a bit on the big side...

Nearly but not quite. It doesn't have the sloping front, it's just flat about 1" high, not a lot thicker than an action replay.

Of course, if I counted right, it's got a DB-25, it's oriented for the 500, and it definitely claims to be a SCSI card.

This could mean the data on it in the hardware book is a little off, or it could be a different model from the same manufacturer, or at least someone using the same casework.  Or I could be all turned around from squinting at it so long.

IMHO, that sort of 'flat and adapted from a vertical A1000 expansion' casework dates it as a relatively early product, maybe.

AFAIR BOIL was kind of a spinoff from ALF and came in different flavors, including SCSI.

It's not ALF either, because none of them used the 5380 controller IC.

Pea, your controller is autobooting so it has AutoConfig IDs. Read the IDs with ShowConfig / SysInfo / AIBB and then the manufacturer can be easily identified.
