You need a special Amiga PCMCIA SCSI-Controller (called Squirrel or so), then you can connect any SCSI device to it.

But I doubt it is fast enough to actually write a CD.

HI,

OK SQUIRREL IS QUITE EXPENSIVE ARE THERE ANY OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ME? I HAVE AN ACCELERATOR CARD WITH AN SCSI SOCKET ON BOARD, CAN I USE THAT MAYBE?

First of all remove your fat fingers from the shift key !

Of course you can use the onboard SCSI, if you have one. Get data and power cables and think about you lead them out of the case. Perhaps the SCSI card already came with an external solution so you only need an appropriate case for the writer.

Thomas

a) STOPP YELLING  :-P

b) yes, just find out it's device is called and edit the tooltypes
on devs(or storage)/dosdrivers/cd0 to fit device and unit.

Now get yourself some burning SW and off you go.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
