« on: March 02, 2005, 07:57:32 AM »
Hi
There are 5 Linux for PowerPC LiveCD distro (Apple PowerMac).

http://www.livecdlist.com/index.php?pick=Linux_PPC

Which PowerPC LiveCDs are compatible with Amiga One and Pegasos boards?
Thank's.

...and which should one use for A4k&CSPPC (onboard UW-SCSI-hostadapter support REQUIRED)?

I own the Amiga Unix Compendium V1.2 - but appearently there's still stuff missing (in order to install from the CD and then boot straight away into Linux).

What I'm looking for is a CD (or a link to download such an CD), containing all the necessary stuff for an installation.
I simply don't have the time and/or the knowledge to know what all is necessary for a working PPC-Linux-installation (where to find the latest Kernel/which Kernel is the right one for me, and so on...), ya know?

I just want to insert the CD, do the installation and then boot straight away into Linux...
All the best,

Dandy

Gentoo at least works with Pegasos out of the box.
