I digged out my old A2000 from the attic and I would like to upgrade it a bit. The machine booted right away, when I put it away then years ago, I had the foresight to remove the battery, so everything is neat and clean on the inside. The outside is perfect too, it was stored in its original commodore cardboard box!
So I first thought about buying one of those new Vampire things, but I can't find them new and I read a new version is about to get released.
Anyway, I think a Commodore A2630 will do in the meantime. Question is, what are the differences with all the revisions?
I can find hardware revisions raging from REV 4 to REV 9.2. does it make any real difference? I figured out, the ROM needs to be at least v6.00 or above to work with OS 3.1 and 3.1.4 so this question is sorted.
Any advice wich hardware revision I should consider buying?
