What are Your Favorite 68k Aminet Games?
« on: May 24, 2010, 10:46:13 AM »
One that comes to mind right away is Bounce, which strangely enough seems to need to boot off a disk or disk image in RAM in order to play without crashing, very good game though!!!

I knew that wouldn't go without mention. :)

Another fun one is a short, but fully featured Super Mario Bros. clone titled: Super Bob Dylan

It even supports 2 buttons! :)

MechForce or Battleforce (the name changed) was always our favourite in the 1990s.  It was/is a great strategic simulation of battletech type robots fighting each other.  This is a turned-based game.

@ral-clan

Is that an Aminet game?  (See thread title.)

@thread

Despite the long download times, one of my most endearing and replayable games on the Aminet is Total Chaos AGA.  http://aminet.net/package/game/strat/TotalChaosAGAr6

T O T A L _ C H A O S

Not just fav aminet game
but fave game of all time of all computers and consoles,
and ive played 20000 different games.
(no that is not an exhageration)

No other game offers anything remotely close.
Sure you can play games with fancy 3D gfx
but none of those games have such a cool consept
with such depth, intrigue, and brain candy!
Other games are very boring and repetitous.
Hopelessly addicted to the world\'s best strategy game.

@Cammy

The Docs on that game mention "Paul Willingham's PS2 to Amiga adapter"...

EDIT:

Nevermind, it only works with the old PS2 controller interface, therefore no drum set interface for doing musick. Bah!!! :/

But still it's cool!!!
