File uploaded to Aminet doesn't appear
« on: March 14, 2019, 06:32:37 PM »
I've created a new carset for the 2019 season for Microprose F1GP, but it won't appear in recent uploads on Aminet.

I've tried 3 times now since last Saturday and have edited the .readme file as I suspect that's the cause of the problem. I've contacted the email address on the aminet website for help but not had any reply.

Here's the link to the file, for download but also if anyone can take a look and suggest what's wrong with it I'd be grateful.

Thanks.

Uploader field needs an email address, and the empty Replaces field should be removed.

Doh - I'd removed 'replaces' in one version. I also had an email address but put it in 'Author' not 'Uploader'.
Thank you. Trying again now.

Also the .readme file has to be uploaded separately, not buried inside the .lha, not sure if you were doing that or not.

I didn't realise that (or had forgotten), so have uploaded the .readme separately as well as part of the .lha. I last uploaded to Aminet about 3 1/2 years ago.

I also spotted the case wasn't consistent between the archive and the readme names so corrected that too.

Here's the corrected file: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1w8VnEpUgZOY4pU-inkQt1971v00VpvNA
