Not from around here ey?

I think it's the isolation that does it. Overall, a typical Tasmanian :p

I've have often wondered about this. What ever happened to the people who worked for the magazine? Where are they now? Does anyone know any of them? I have often wondered if they are on A.org...

Hi there,

I am a new Amiga User, too! I owned an Amiga 500 and 2000 in the past.
My new SAM460 should arrive within this week :)

Are there any important things I need to know when I set up my new amiga? It is a long time ago since I used AmigaOS. Recommendations in Software are welcome too... :)

Are there any AOS4 Users from Switzerland?

Never seen Farrell and Doomy in the same room.  I wonder if Farrell can sing? "Only Amiga......"

@Robotics, you should post in the new user introductions forum.. Welcome.

>Okay I've scanned issue one of the Australian Commodore Review (no Amiga back then) where would you like me to email it to? (I've split it up into 10mb chunks, it is around 15 megabytes in size).

Sorry, missed your post. It is amigansoftware@gmail.com

>Also am happy to drop some money into your paypal account to get a copy of all the issues that you've gone.

I'll send you a PM...

Issue 1 of ACAR has been scanned and emailed :-)

Also I have got issues 1 to 13 of Atari ST / Amiga Format coming my way to scan!

Does anyone have the Amiga Format Special that was included in the Dynamite Amiga 1200 pack?

Hey DonutKing, just a friendly note, this thread has been pretty well dead for awhile.
My machines:
PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5ghz 1.25GB 10.5.8 & MOS 2.7
Mac Mini C2D 10.6.8 2GHz 3GB 250GB HDD
MacBook Retina 16GB 256GB SSD 10.8
iPad 2
Underground Gamer invites (a classic game site) PM

Need a part for a PC or Mac? PM me, I\'ll let you know if I come across it.

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real \'Amigas\', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

My A2000 is leaking acid everywhere but I donno how to rip the damn battery out without breaking something.

Houston really needs some Amiga user groups like we had back in the olden days.

just grab the battery with both hands and wobble it back and forth in the parallel direction, keep doing it until the pins snap,it will come off clean and not hurt a thing.

these two are the only two I have here in the usa with me. The rest are back in aus :) Me mum would have no idea where they are or what I was talking about if I asked after them. something rings a bell that there is or was a third hint book but I dont recall...

I think I have all the hint sheets, tonnes of them. There are heaps. I think he cycled some in and out so not all the same were available at the same time. (back in aus tho).

I do have another random aussie hintbook 'what, another adventure' by phylidia fitzgerald from the age and some canberra times newspaper.

I'm in the process of creating an archive of the Canberra Times adventure column. 1988 is already available from my site at http://amigan.1emu.net/aw/ and other years will be added as the source documents become available from the NLA site.

I'm also interested in scanning the Adventurer's Realm hints sheets, would you be willing to lend them for this purpose?
