I surfed to Frank Wille's Quake page with the title "Quake 1.09, GL-Quake and Quake World for Amiga", but I couldn't find any GLQuake version. Is the Aminet release from 2000 the latest version?
/Martin
P.S. I know there's a 68k GLQuake version, but since I have a BlizzardPPC I prefer the WOS version...

LOL
you mean the link?

No, I have the link, but there are only versions of standard Quake there, which uses software rendering. On the Aminet there's a WOS version of GLQuake with hardware rendering and that looks *much* better.

Well, I´ ve talked to the author of GLquake Massimiliano Tretene
and he isn´t developing glquake for Amiga
anymore due to short time.
The last official version was the 0.6b. He sent
me a 0.7b because I had problems with displaying
it correctly on my Voodoo3/4 GFX cards.
It didn´t solve the problem ;o(

Ok, too bad. :-(

That`s too bad.
But maby he`ll have time later on....
Is the problem to do with the voodoo cards?
(i have a voodoo 3, and it seems to comply with most rendering standards...)
Any way i came across this article that may improve the GLprocess.

By the way, does anyone know how to activate 'mlook' from the start? I tried both "glquakewos +mlook" and "glquakewos -mlook", but neither work, so I have to bring down the console each time I start Quake.

Never mind, I remembered that I could create the file autoexec.cfg in the id1 directory and just put +mlook in that. :-)

Next days I'll start adapting GLQuakeWOS to the new souces, but to eliminate the "Voodoo" bugs I need to have AmigaOS 4.0 running on my dev AmigaOne
:-)
Ciao
