Wow, I remember being a little kid, walking into Waldensoft and drooling over that Shadow of the Beast demo on the A500 they had set up...so much cooler than my C64...well, C128 in C64 mode.

And then there was that weirdo who worked at Waldensoft, and all he could talk about was how the C64 version of Shadow of the Beast was better than the Amiga version.

And we all made fun of him on the local BBS's, from our 300 baud modems.

Those were great times.

What about MARBLE MADNESS???

It was really cool at the time.

Would be fine to get an improved version of
Marble Madness for OS 4.

Of the games I can think of that I have and/or have played on the Amiga, Lemmings Psychosis and Worms are the two which I remember as being classics.

I swear I must have lost a month when I first got hold of Lemmings...senseless but possibly the most addictive game ever(?).

Dungeon Master was the game I used to like, I still play it from time to time with winuae, but the one game that will always stick in memory was MegaBall, my missis used to moan like hell about the time I spent on my miggy, untill she played that, then I couldn't get anywhere near my 1200 coz she was totally addicted.

  :-?

Marble Madness gets one of my votes, the graphics were exactly like the arcade and the gameplay was good with a mouse.

Earl Weaver Baseball- My friends and I played this game fr 3 straight years.

Hi,

What comes to mind for me are games that no-one seem to know (of the people I know).

One of the games I got after I got my a1200 was Bloodnet. I still find that to be one of the coolest games ever. Right now I cannot really remember what I used to play beforehand, except for Eye of the beholder I/II which are also extremely cool.

Newer extremely cool games include abuse (PPC for it to run acceptably) and Ancient Domains of Mystery (ADOM) which I have sold my soul to play :-)

Sincerely,

-Kenneth Straarup.

Oh, and of course all the great adventure games, like monkey island, simon the sorcerer and faith of atlantis (as opposed to all the sucky adventure games, like zak mccrack, maniac mansion etc :))
