Amiga Prism Wifi Driver

Has anyone had any success using this driver on a Mediator PCI busboard?

The docs say it supports AmigaONE and Prometheus.

I think that if that driver (or any other non Elbox written driver) is to be made with Mediator compatibility in mind, there has to be some sort of agreement signed with Elbox first.

What about OpenPCI?  That supports Mediator boards (again).

I guess it will be easier to get myself an ancient 802.11b PCMCIA card off ebay then. :-(

I'm not sure about OpenPCI support. I didn't even know that Mediator has it. :-)

What I told you in the previous post goes only for the stuff that Elbox publishes as official supported device list, and as you can see basically all drivers are in-house made.

I guessed as much.  I vaguely remember when OpenPCI stopped all Mediator support way back.  Something to do with Elbox being a bit arsey with them or something I think.

I was hopeful that that version might work with the Prometheus (the docs said it was untested), but it turns out that it doesn't. It doesn't use openpci, so it also won't work with the Mediator. Prometheus and Mediator support aren't ruled out for the future however.

Great news Neil, thanks.  I think i'll buy a pcmcia card for the time being.  If you added support for the openpci.library it would enable a lot more people to use your driver.  Is this possible, or would it have to be a complete rewrite?
