Hi had great fun with MORIA on my old Amiga 500 (http://www.minesofmorgoth.com/history.html).  However, every time I tried to run it on my subsequent, more powerful Amigas (i.e. OS3.x, 040 processor, expanded RAM, etc.) I always found there was some bug which resulted in your MANA (energy needed to cast spells) always being zero.

Has anyone had any luck running this great game on an updated Amiga (and casting spells)?

Have you tried UMoria instead?  It's supposed to be modified so it will work on newer systems.
