"Can't allocate enough memory to load Kernel"

Is anyone else seeing this error?

Attached is an image.

I am sorry to hear that. I sent you a refund.

Argh... why not just diagnose the issue so that it can be resolved for other buyers?

We tried, of course, look at the Support Forum. While it worked for other user with similar issue, it did not work for Acill and he asked for the refund. Simple as that.

@Themamboman please adjust WinUAE RAM settings. If it doesn't help, please refer to the Support Forum at http://forum.amiga.sk Also mention your HW config there. Thanks!

You guys do a great job so I would not give up so soon.  It could be a simple issue that could be resolved easily.  :-)

@Acill

I would be happy to help.  Could you give me some more information on your Mac?  OS version? XQuartz version? Are you up-to-date on your OS updates?

I also have something else for you to try:

Start WINE Staging
Type winecfg
Click the Staging tab
Uncheck or check this: Enable CSMT for better graphic performance

I have mine checked and I'm running 64bit WINE Staging.  You might try it off to see if it makes any difference.  I read on the WINE forums that it was causing issues for some folks.

@ amikit

Your website is kind of bugged and blown. Does not run on Odyssey.

Heh, heh.  :)

Actually, it works fine on Odyssey (albeit slowly) -- just takes a while to load.

I also get an empty page with Odyssey, doesn't seem to be loading anymore in that situation (no CPU usage, no network activity). Tried couple of times...

Just tried again on the X5000 and it works fine. However, when I try it on WinUAE it just shows a white screen. Hmmm ...

Edit: Apparently, the website requires javascript (I had it turned off) -- so it DOES work on 4.1 Classic on WinUAE (although very slowly, as I said before).

Well, I think Amiga is about beauty through efficience. IHMO that should be true for the web, too. All these bloated sites are (technically) ugly and waste resources.
Not my taste.

And that's exactly why we created the new website for you. Very efficient and not resource hungry. At all. Actually a vegan among websites!

Just an FYI:  WINE 2.2 Development is out today.  :-)  WINE 2.2 Staging should not be far behind.
