Title: AmiPUP updated to version 1.1
Post by: klesterjr on July 22, 2014, 09:31:38 PM
AmiPUP has now been updated to v1.1.0. This version is based on the latest Slacko Puppy Linux v5.7. (Amiga plus Puppy Linux = AmiPUP!)

AmiPUP attempts to bring an Amiga look to Linux via "familiar" Window Manager & GTK themes as well as the latest Ken's Icons and a new hybrid iconset called K-Faenza (based on the Faenza iconset).

AmiPUP works with almost any x86 computer (not including Macs) that can boot from CD or USB. At boot, AmiPUP loads EVERYTHING into ram, so all applications load blazing fast! Changes can be saved to the USB or multi-session CD boot device (or not at all). The host system is never touched!

I just uploaded AmiPUP v1.1.2.

The only change is to bring Firefox & flash up to date. It adds 20 megs to the distro size, so don't bother if you don't need an updated browser.
