Yeah we want to have another meeting soon, guys post your dates that would work for you. Anybody want to host? I can host again, just say what you want to do. Sounds like we have a lot of ideas for the agendas. Also all of my amigas are not working, any body want to come over and troubleshoot with me.

You guys looking into weekends soon? A Friday or Saturday eve could give me the time to travel down that way... I could bring the A1200 and see what we can throw at it ;)
We could even play around with NovaCoder's ports!

As far as topics go, I'd love to see Amithlon in action. I have to do more research on the hardware ins and outs, but speaking to someone directly is always preferable.

Also, I have an idea for video conferencing....but I almost want to pan it, I'd much rather have the interactivity of the computers. I'll keep an option open and see if anyone likes it.

Tuesdays are probably still the best for me, maybe the 12th, 19th, something like that?  And you know I'd be glad to help troubleshoot, you've got four A2000's, am certain we could make one working one out of all those parts!  Did you ever order yourself an Indivision?

Not Mondays or Tuesdays, for me.  I'd vote for a weekend day.

I'd be interested in attending an Amiga get together.  I talked to another old---uh,
I mean "longtime"---NCAUGger today who said he was who said he'd show up,
and bring an OS4 machine, if desired.  Is there a meeting planned?

My availability is fairly unpredictable---depends on my wife's on-call schedule, my
chauffeur and child care duties, and how my old man's doing.  My wife let's me
out most evenings with only a few complaints, and occasionally leaves a weekend
free.  Tuesday and Friday evenings are not quite as good as others.

I'm in Takoma Park, MD.  I hosted a few post-NCAUG meetings before I got too
busy with my kids.  I could probably have people over here again, but I'd have
to scrape the human filth and dead vampire bats off the floor, first.

Walter

Takoma Park is closer to me than the other locations I've seen mentioned. I have a Radeon on order for my A4000/Mediator and would like some help using Picasso96 to set it up.

ok Guys the only date I can find using the Tuesday/Thursday rule is December 17 at my house. Please post here or PM me and let me know if you want to meet on this date. At the first meeting we agreed that the meetings should be close enough to keep interest and far enough apart to add more content. I see along of people have projects that they want to build or show off. So let me know about this date and get you stuff packed up ready to show and tell.

I have all my Amigas are down now so we will be working on them to get the toaster running again.

I have a table to set up in the living room, we can use the kitchen and maybe a table down stairs if enough people show. :python:

The time isn't a problem, but the location might be: where are you located?

December 17 works great for me! :)

@garyg - the previous meeting was held just west of Frederick, MD.

Well, Tuesday isn't particularly good for me, but maybe it's possible.  What time are you thinking?  The later, the better, for me.

Thanks!

I wonder if anyone has had any luck using 3.5OS with the Thylacine card. Looking into a nic would be my main reason for getting one. This is the first Zorro 2 usb card I have heard of.

the deneb, highway, algor, algor pro all worked on z2... unfortunately all out of production now.

Dang! I wish I lived in your area! I would so be in an Amiga User Group if I could! Looks real fun. I would bring all my Toaster toys if I could go. BTW, who's who in the pictures? And what's that eerie blue moon glow coming out of the front of that A2000? Looking forward to more meeting minutes. Maybe your new club could start a sub-forum here so we could all check in after your meetings and check out some meeting YouTube vids?!

Weekends are tough for me, but I could probably do Dec. 7, if that works better for everyone? Bigbronc, what do you say?

Oh, and that blue glow is my A2000, I put blue lights in the front and the back, eventually I'll probably put more but that's what I've got for now. Geeze, I really wish I had more time to work on this! Here's a couple other pics.

The 17th is too difficult for me to work out, unfortunately. I'm going to hold out for a weekend unless I can use a day off to drive down there after the new year. Maybe someone can help me with my A1200 as I am trying my best to "modernize" it ;)

So far I have the Indivision MkII, 4g CF, a 50 mhz 030 accelerator, and Better WB going, but some challenges remain.

I currently enjoy NovaCoder's Wolf port and am working on getting Debian 68k going with the help of Adrian G and the other members of the group. I also have to get the accelerator fitted with 256 of ram and SCSI if I can find someone local handy with a soldering iron.

Regardless, I think it is fun to play around with!
