On the official Amiga 1222 Plus product page, there are a couple of peculiar entries:

  • What is a "WCU Prog"? Using a well known search engine yields zero relevant results, so whatever it is it has to be pretty obscure?
  • Why does the CPU have its own LED port? What purpose does it serve?

I've not heard of this before either but the port has six pins and there also a load of diagnostic lights clustered around the SATA ports labeled as WCU LEDS.

It only has  2 pin header so I assume it's a crude CPU activity indicator.

i think the WCU prog thing is a typo.
There is a header called MCU prog on the board, can't remember seeing anything called WCU prog.

Are you sure that header is really called MCU? Judging by the photo Rob refers to, it might just as well say WCU? Here's a closeup:

Got it. Do you have any idea what triggers the signal, and if its digital or analog?

Yes i'm sure that it's mcu prog :) but that M is smudgy so i can uderstand if someone missprented it as a W.
