Well I was planning to buy a Sam460CR... but the more time passes, the less I feel like it.

Yes I know the feeling. I have been trying to buy a sam460 starting in November 2012 and there has been nothing in for the last 25 months. I have contacted them a few times and 1 sam460 came in stock during that time and was sold before I could log on and buy it. Every time they email me back its comming in March then it was May then August then Sep and here we are now 25 months with a web site offering to sell something for two years that they do not have. I think that I am going to support A-EON and not A-Cube as they have done everything that they have said they would. It's just is not professional to advietise some thing that they will not have for two years. It's bad business.

Right now, there are zero 4.1FE CDs for zero platforms :)

     How do you know?  Right now there could very well be thousands of discs just sitting around waiting for the release...

@everblue

I suspect your feelings are correct...

Be nice if someone with "authority" would clear things up. My Missus is hoping to spend some Christmas money on me at Amigakit.

     Someone with "authority" will clear things up...it's called an announcement and I'm sure it won't be made until things are ready to roll.   ;^)

The problem with A-EON is that the X1000 is ungodly expensive. I make a very decent salary and it's incredibly hard to justify spending that much on an Amiga and this is coming from someone who owns an A4000D/040, an A1200T/PPC/060 and two other A1200s; all with indivisions and the first two machines completely decked out with mediators, usb and pci cards

Your comment is off topic.
AmigaOS4.1 FE is a Hyperion project and has nothing to do with Amigakit or A-Eon.
I am sure that the developers are working tirelessly on it. All I ask is that  hyperion break their long habit of silence and give an updated ETA. This way we can all know if a Chrimbo delivery is possible.

I was going to say "who died and appointed you moderator", but your "rozzers 'round your gaff" comment is absolutely hilarious and made me LOL. Carry on, gentlemen. Thanks for brightening my day! :lol: :lol: :lol:
