Amigas Used By NASA
« on: May 03, 2016, 10:22:08 AM »
Hi,

Someone asked for the URL to the topic.

See  http://obligement.free.fr/articles_traduction/amiganasa_en.php

We keep trying to tell them its not fast enough so they tell us to buy DEC Alphas. We tell them its too expensive.

They don't like the Amiga it doesn't cost enough."

There was a programme broadcast on BBC4 last week about the moon and I saw this screen (see attachment) in the segment about the Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment. It's a bit blurry but it looks Workbenchy.

The programme is still on iPlayer for UK viewers and the bit about the laser ranging starts at 28:00 minutes in.

Not sure if there's a HD version anywhere?

First shown: 9:10pm 27 Feb 2006

Given the date, it's unlikely it was made in HD.

At 29:11 there is a much clearer view of that screen and it looks like X.
It's definitely not Workbench.
