Why? I think it's a good idea. Because competition in game consol market is not as hard as personel computer market. At least there are different machines in the market.

And building a game console was the dream of Jay Miner. Lorianne project was purposed to this. But the machine is renamed as Amiga and converted to "personal computer with excellent games" by dear Commodore.

That makes it less competitive? How?

NOT True!
Jay Miner wanted to build a full-fledged computer, thats why he searched for a big company with money to do that (then Commodore appeared).

we must not forget that the CD32 was the worlds first true 32bit console.  But commodore were too far in trhe crapola at this stage to market it properly.  Could have been a monster

Perhaps, but the other 32 bit machines that came out after the CD32 smoked it big time. Again a little to late even if it was the first one. Maybe if it had a dedicated 3D chip and not just the planar to chuncy convert "Akiko".. 2D was out at that time, it was all going 3D.

As for the web page. What's the purpose ? To make the Amiga community look even more stupid to outsiders then it all ready does ? People will either think "Wow, what a nice system (to bad it looks like a VCR) and are turned of that it's just a fantasy..(and no comming hardware/software sollution even comes close to that)" or just laugh and think "Yet Another Amiga Lunatic"..

I really wonder how long this myth lasts ;) CD32 was definetly *not* the "first"
32bit Console, the FM Towns Marty was (And they probably sold even more units then Commo produced CD32s) Not that it really matterd anyway, compared with the 3DO which appeared
almost the same time, the cd32 looked very dated, same with the Jaguar which came about
a year later, and remember both failed too...
