I don't know if you are saying I was joking...because I was serious as a heart attack.
I meant that mine was a joke (that's why then I added the real reason of not having a deadline).
I believe if AmigaOS 4.1 would get any inch of being interested as a hobby OS by mass media say like GP2X, Linux, etc...it would need to have hundreds of it's own unique special only made for OS 4.1 software such as games and apps that are super cool...fun and useful. Especially games (more so over apps actually), if there are at least hundred of different games that are only available for OS 4.1 and just for OS 4.1 then perhaps more people would buy OS 4.1 for those games (repeat 80s history)...and repeat cycle.
Anything that is extremely compelling and available only on a given system will bring the attention on that system. But coming up with a unique and compelling idea, and then implementing it isn't that easy
Not to mention that there would be hardly a reason to restrict the idea to a specific system - unless the final objective is precisely favouring the system, and nothing is dearer to the creator(s). Multiply everything by a good factor - just one killer app is too little, isn't it? - and everything becomes even more unfeasible.
Unfortunately, that's not going to happen (but I'd love to be proven wrong).
