I recently bought a copy of Monty Python's Flying Circus for the Amiga. After gobbling up the sausages and eggs, etc, and avoiding all the nasties, I finally looked at the disk. This disk is very different from the older versions I had - The name is even a joke on this one. I don't believe my earlier versions were Virgin, but I am not 100% sure. I AM sure the other weren't titles "Monthy Pitons Circing Flyus"!
Where did this thing come from?

Looks like that's the same disk over at HOL. I'm pretty sure mine had a red sticker for a label... don't remember if it was PAL or NTSC.

Mine is the same as you describe, from Virgin Games, with the "Monthy Pitons Circing Flyus" title on the disk.  I never considered that unusual for something from Monty Python.

Now that I'm looking at it... I wonder if it would be too geeky for me to wear the Mr. Gumby pin to work.

It actually fits the Python demeanor rather well. It just threw me. I can't believe it took me so long to notice it!

This is one of those rare games that still works after all these years. I still get a chuckle or two with this one...
