Or if you puy any SIMM ram module will recognize without any change the new SIMM Module..

I know theyre a Jumpers, i m not sure if need change something in the jumpers, or need any diferent software, becouse this card need "AUTOXA Driver" to recongnize the memory installed.
In the manual says this support to 128MB.--

If you or your dealer are purchasing a SIMM from a source
other than PARAVISION, INC., you must be certain to get the
correct type. M1230 XA does NOT use the common, 8-bit
SIMM as found in the Macintosh marketplace. Rather it
uses the same sort of SIMM as used in the Amiga 4000.
This is a 72-pin, 32-bit wide SIMM. M1230 XA needs at
least a 100ns SIMM. You can use a 80ns, 70ns, 60ns, or
even 40ns SIMM but these may cost more. The following is
a list of Micron part numbers for the correct SIMM. You can
use the equivalent parts from any good quality manufacturer.
M1230 XA SIMM SPECIFICATION (example only): 80ns, 72-
pin “wide-body” SIMM organized N-megabytes x 32 bits. For
example, Micron MT8D25632 (one megabyte);
MT16D51232 (two megabytes); MT8D132 (four megabytes);
and MT16D232 (eight megabytes).

I was lucky enough to find a 128mb simm for mine on ebay for like $8. YOu have tu use the SET XA ram utility unless you have 3.1 roms. Then the ram autoconigs.

Set XA make the extra ram visible to the system. For WHDLOAD I had to tweak some settings  in prefs as it wouldn't work for every game. I would fish on ebay for a 128 mb simm and make full use of the card. Still kicking myself for selling this.
I ahve a Phase 5 Blizzard 040 LC, GVP Jaws, and an MTEC 030. Good speeedy cards but nowhere near 128 meg capaicty. Then again for AMIGA whdload 4-8 mb is fine.
