News via MickJT on amigaworld.net
X-Moto is a motorcross stunts game using the Open Dynamics Engine for realistic physics.
It requires AmigaOS 4.1 Update 1 (for MiniGL 2.2), and somewhere between 32MB and 64MB of graphics memory depending on the complexity of the levels being played.
It can be downloaded from OS4Depot (http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=game/driving/xmoto.lha)
Network multiplayer is not functional with the official tuxfamily server, but does work between two OS4 machines. The game may crash if the person hosting the server closes it down before the client disconnects.
Since the previous port by spotUP / Up Rough, this version can run in a window, has more levels, updated graphics and music, server synchronization and better physics with objects in many levels interacting with the bike.
Screenshots will come soon.

Is it just me or are we starting to see more OS4.x software?
:)

yep tone it's been good times for Amiga ever since that damn lawsuit was settled !...brand new dedicated hardware, new Updates to AmigaOS and some great software...I'm sure with the release of X1000 we will see OpenOffice and even more games/apps out too:drink::banana:
(but between us ...don't celebrate too long cause the dungeon dwellers will hear us celebrating:roflmao:)

Glad people are liking it :)

I played X-moto last year on my 4.1 system so previous versions have been available.
But I prefer to play it on my PC because it is not smooth in 4.1 if you run bigger resolutions (and the sound fx was f*cked up a bit).

Very nice one! (heck I had actually missed it! :))
