I've searched the forum and the only thread I could find about this problem is where lempkee offers a new file of some sort. :-)
I also get PPC error when I try the warp3d demos in PPC mode, the 68K mode works fine.
Any suggestions? :-)

Faulty settings of Warp prefs or wrong version of libs; perhaps wrong GFX address - many possibilities :-(
-
Warpvers from Aminet checks what you have installed.

Hi zipper,

powerpc/alertfile = CON:0/20/400/200/WarpOS - System Message/AUTO/CLOSE/WAIT/INACTIVE
powerpc/memprot = 1
powerpc/hidewarning = 0
powerpc/force = 1
powerpc/nopatch = 1
powerpc/earlyterm = 0
powerpc/gfxaddr = $E0000000
powerpc/debug = 0
powerpc/terminator = 0

Try THIS THREAD (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9546). My problem was the ppc.lib had the original PUP one installed and not the WUP EMU one.

powerpc/no233fix not found
It is said that many 233Mhz CSPPC boards have a buggy 604e chip that causes intermitant crashing. 233fix is a program that is supposed to stop these crashes.
I have a 233 and have not observed these crashes at the stock speed.

YES!! It works now, thanks for the help.
The settings:
"Terminator OFF"
"No patch" is checked
"Always use videoaddress"
HEX: "5C000000" (for my gfxcard that is)
That's it. Shogo went pretty good, Heretic2 was a little buggy and didn't go so fast. But it was fun to get them going. :-)

@redrumloa
yes i know about the LRBug fix (CSPPC233Fix) and it is needed here. (if you get an exception LR that starts with a not 0)
What i don't understand, is those var setting in WOS!?!
BTW, are you using the memory ptotection?
Bye

> powerpc/enalignexc not found
I think it is for IFusionPPC Mac emulator (and it prevents Warp3D to work if set btw.)

Hi Crusher,
Why don't you just run these games on a PC?
-
Because that would cost me even more money, which I can spend on my Amiga instead, I don't own a PC and I will not own a PC. I'm all Amiga and nothing will change that. :-)
Why don't I buy a new car?
Why don't I buy a house?
Why..why..why??? Well, because I don't want to, simple as that. :-)

Hi Crusher,
I don't own a PC and I will not own a PC. I'm all Amiga and nothing will change that.
Then you will be missing out on a lot of really great games that were only released for the PC.
Doom / Doom II Greatest Game of all Time
Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption Best RPG game
Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Best Quake Style Game
Shadow Warrior and Blood These 2 games are so good that they were BANNED in most States and parts of the world.
Wings of Glory Best WWI Flight Simulator
And finally, my famous HGC maps are only available for the PC versions of Doom II, Duke Nukem, Blood, and Shadow Warrior. I will also be creating some awesome maps for Doom 3. :-D

Huh, I don't remember those games being banned. I know I played them back when they were out. I do remember one game that was removed from many store shelves though: Postal. The game box even had bullet holes all over it (yep, holes right through the box). The whole purpose was simply to walk around a city killing as many people as you could.
I think now that games like Vice City have gotten popular though it will be a long time before anything gets banned like that.
Another side note... obviously I don't intend on criticizing your like of the Doom series, but I think the best game of all time has to be Diablo II. I don't even want to imagine the amount of my life I lost to that game! :-P

Maybe he feals like me, "I don't care". If you only play games all the time a PC is the way to go *or* a console.
Besides, the old Doom/Doom II are ported since years.

@BoingBoss: There are many things that I will miss out in life. Although most of the games you listed I've played. I love the DooM series and I have them on my Amiga, Gameboy, Playstation and my SE P800.
I won't miss out DooM3 or Halflife2 either 'cause most of my friends have PC's and I can play the games at there home. I let them spend money on PC so I can spend on my Amiga. :-)
