How nice. I finally have a working Windows system again and WinUAE would be a great addition.

Over Toni's dead body! :roflmao:

"That's not a real Amiga" I believe is his philosophy. Someone needs to modify PearPC or QEMU before that has a chance of happening...

Of course, one of the MorphOS developers got that running on a modded QEMU, dropped screenshots, and never released it, but that's another story.

Not a real amiga?
An expansion PPC board, plugged into the original A1200 slot, makes the amiga capable of running Amiga OS4, which is a software.
It's as Amiga as a 68060 powered A1200 running software made just for it. Which, btw, is emulated on WinUAE.

We're not talking about Sam's boards or any other exotic 100% different hardware.

I wouldnt hold my breath for ppc emulation in Winuae. Toni has expressed numerous times that its of no interest to him.

Me too, but my point is, the real problem behind the curtains is:
* They're probably afraid of the AmigaOS (Trevor & Cia) guys, which support ideas just like the first one listed here: What it is and what its not an Amiga.
- Mac Mini??? Noooooooo, that's not an Amiga, so, our SW can't run on that...
- We'll not be supporting Apple's old computers. We'll create something entirely new (which is great, and we all know why it costs a lot of money, but)...
and etc...
