LOts o' games :-)
« on: December 08, 2002, 10:34:36 AM »
Salut les gars,

Right, I have hundreds of Amiga software (games, applications, coverdisks and demos) which I need to get rid of, space dictates it unfortunately.

Some of the games are still in their original boxes!!

All this lurverly software could be yours absotively posilutely free...you'd pay the postage though or collect if possible (I am based in the North of England)

Right who wants it...

A plus

PS if I get inundated with requests then I might have to make some form of the weakest link style game where the winner takes all  :-D

Oh dear, looks as though no-one wants it.

Will leave this for a few days....if I still have no responses I'm afraid it'll all be consigned to the dump  :-(

Oh did I mention its all free  :-)

I agree it does have value hence why I put it up here rather than just getting rid of the stuff.

I'd rather keep it for myself but really dont have the space......

:idea:Might I suggest the closest user's group?  I'm sure that not
only the membership would be appreciative, but you could have a whale
of a good time discussing "the old times." :-)

(now hiding from ME-ME, NO-ME, and NOT-HIM-ME)

Hmm Looks like I'll have to don my Anne Robinson mask and start "The weakest link"  :)

Anyhoo I'm based in West Yorkshire and would like to do this as fairly as possible..maybe split the stuff between all who want it.

Unfortunately I cant provide a list cos there is just too much stuff to list but briefly contains the following:

super stardust (aga)
Amiga magic pack (from my A500)
Amiga format, amiga one, cu amiga coverdisks
TFX - full game given away by cu amiga
Alienbreed3d 1 and 2
Body blows 1 and 2
Pinball fantasies and illusions
Assassin
Flashback
Another World
Road Rash
Lotus 2 and 3
etc....

Hmm Assassin cool!. One of the first games I ever played on the Amiga. That would bring back some memories.

Do you have any of the following?

Escape From Colditz
Armourgeddon 1 or 2
Lost Patrol
Walker
Knights of The Sky
The Settlers

These games would mean a lot. Well except Walker. that would be cool though. I have a copy, but would love to replace it with a nice box.

DOH!!

You`ve just reminded me, about apps. I would be more interested inthose really. I find it hard to buy games for my Amiga, as I like things which help my work.

Do you have Turbocalc 5? and what graphics software? You`ll be helping me make some Amiga games with these apps.

Free games rule! The last old A500 I picked up
(in 1994?) came with a load of them.

I suppose it might become a lot of work for you dividing up the games and mailing disks all over but if I could have any of the games you just mentioned, it would be "Flashback" for sure. I downloaded an emulator version and no matter what, I could not get it to work right. I really liked Another World so I was anxious to see Flashback. If you decide to send games out to individuals, please do send Flashback to:

I would gladly repay you for postage, etc.
