New year, new  gear.
Bought  A1200 K3.1, ATX PSU.

Yes, BetterWB it's what I've been looking for!
I also tried ClassicWB but with 2mb  it's no fun and I don't like its look'n'feel.
I'm thinking now about some fast ram and upgrading CF to 8GB.

Thanks for answers everyone. Now I should change the topic to:

I have been absolutely blown away by the classicWB packages. Though they do use scalos so that may be a deal breaker or not.
It's completely amazing though, and it manages to get a really snazzy looking workbench without a graphics card.

Running AGA stuff without fast ram, with hard drive was always dicey as most games didn't have enough RAM to work :(

There is classicwb 'lite' version without scalos  and optimized for 8 colours. I'm gonna give it a try  as soon as I get fast ram.
Still, I think I could get benefit installing betterwb on top of classicwb.

OK,I think I got it.
Using e-uae, I installed Classicwb ADV (I have vga lcd monitor working nice in dblntsc 640x400),
restored  original loadwb to disable Scalos then installed magicmenu.
Colours reduced from 16 to 4, icons still looking nice.
(well, I prefer oldschool look over Classicwb default 'rainbow')
Still testing in e-uae, adding apps - without fastram Dopus is unusable.
Some of BetterWB features can be easily added - installers in MyFiles drawer.

I bought 4mb fastram board, it should arrive tomorrow.
Time to transfer the system to CF card.
