The HDSS demonstration was conducted at Stanford University in November 2000. The system delivered a data rate of 125 MB/sec, comprising 12 simultaneous uncompressed video streams from one optical head read from an Aprilis disk.
Check it out hereIs this cool or what. Could have multiple streams of HD video comming from one disk. Or have multi dimensional view ports to data. This is awsome. combine this with the power of Multi processor computors ( 64 bit processors of course ).
