Where to buy Quake 2 and Payback
« on: April 09, 2015, 09:03:02 PM »
Hi just wondered if anyone knows where I can buy the amiga versions of Quake 2 and Payback. Both were available recently and now I want to buy them I can't find either of them from any of the amiga retailers online.

Thanks! I checked your (amigakit) website and didn't see quake 2 earlier. I bought it from you a few hours ago.

Thanks for the quick response. Best not mention any more games I want because I will be seriously out of pocket, what with buying the new warp3d driver and new graphics card to make use of it :-)

Was waiting soo long for that driver. One very happy (but poor) Amigian at the mo!

Payback will not benefit from Warp3D. There is a way to run it in AmigaOS4. I will try to find the thread.

It seems Payback is now soldout everywhere. Anyone knows where I can still grab a copy?

Payback does have w3d rendering. Looks quite a bit nicer and has extra lighting, fog, etc. effects.

Or does w3d renderer not work for Payback on OS4? (in response to the person who said w3d is of no benefit with payback).
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

You should be able to order a (digital) copy directly from Apex Designs:

Mmm, I don't see any offer on their website for a digital version. I'll mail them.
