On Saturday December 1, the Toronto PET Users Group will host its 9th annual World of Commodore EXPO, this being the 2012 edition. The TPUG version of the show began in 2004 to mark TPUG's 25th anniversary.
In the eighties, the first weekend of December was looked forward to with great anticipation by Commodore fans. This was the time when Commodore Business Machines presented the original World of Commodore show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada*.
Although the TPUG show does not claim to be the equivalent of the original show (we don't have 30,000 attendees!), it does try to carry on the Commodore tradition of providing a friendly atmosphere in which fans can get together, view various hardware/software items on display/sale and partake in technical presentations and discussions.
