Title: trailing cursor in WinUAE 8.22R1
Post by: Glaucus on October 27, 2002, 04:45:54 PM
Hey people!

So I thought the trailing mouse cursor bug was FINALLY fixed in this version of WinUAE.  And I remember it being fixed for a long time, but the other day I made some changes to my default profile and ever since I've been getting mouse trails!!!  While in emulation I'll hit F12 to bring up the options screen and I set the JIT cache to 0.  The trails go away.  I then go back and set the cahce size to 8 and for a while everything's okay.  Then I suddenly get the trails again.  Argh!  It's driving me nuts!

I'm running OS3.9 with Picasso96 and running in Windowed mode.  Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?  Are there settings in WinUAE that can fix this, or is this a P96/OS3.9 problem?!??!?!?  :-?  :-?  :-?

I find WinUAE sometimes really buggy. I use it together with Amiga in a Box. Just the other day I installed Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum wich really screwed up my WinUAE/AIAB. Wich offcourse me off. But I think this one is more to blame on Windows (aren't they all?).

Have you installed the corrected rtg.library that comes with WinUAE ?

Bye,

I'll try reinstalling the latest picasso and rtg.library. I was messing around the PVS thingy and now WinUAE just crashes.  can't remember what I set so I'm booting in AGA mode now.  Gonna wipe out all Picasso96 stuff and re-install!  We'll see how that goes.  Thanks for the tips.
