You make it tempting, I am in suburban Detroit area.
I also see you have the Matze card. Looking for some help in selecting a card for my 4000, Picasso being to old and expensive for my tastes.

Well, the Matze card in an A4K is awesome for RTG graphics. The reason I like it is that there's no FPGA to dink around with. It's just a Zorro II card with a SVGA chipset and 4MB of RAM that works with Amiga. Plus it has an auto-switch and works perfect with P96, provided you have the magic config file.   8)

Two Buckazoids per item would be worth a trip from Detroit. I'll put them on Craigslist too, see how that goes.  ;)

I thought we had a couple Amigans near me...  Hmmmm...

I believe Matze is coming out with newer card with more functions such as ethernet and sd card to go along with rtg. Would be nice to hook up, GR is a always a nice getaway for us.

Dave, I read that too somewhere but can't find it with Google now. Weird. My opinion is to keep things simple which is why I really like the Matze RTG card. Just works! It was pricey though. Oh, and I see that it's out of production now(?).

Lemme know if you would like to make the trip!  :)

Looking for some help in selecting a card for my 4000, Picasso being to old and expensive for my tastes.

You may want to consider buying the upcoming open source ZZ9000 multi purpose graphics card, supporting development of brand new Amiga hardware in the process. Not only should the ZZ9000 run in wide circles around just about any other Zorro-based graphics card out there, but it comes loaded with a few extra tricks up its sleeve - including an onboard Ethernet network controller, 1 GB DDR3 RAM (yes - that's one gig of RAM), a SD Card interface and an ARM-based coprocessor. The developer - MNT Media and Technology - previous merits include the appraised (and now out of stock) VA2000 graphics card, which bodes well for this project.

For anyone interested, here's a YouTube-presentation showing and introducing the VA2000. Fingers crossed for an awesome product!
