Title: Chaos Strikes Back
Post by: xyth on June 14, 2003, 02:38:17 AM
To my great joy the wonderful people at WHDLoad have released a loader for one of my all time favourite games.  So it was with much anticipation that I dusted off my original disks and installed them.

Unfortunately over the years the Game Disk has developed several unrepairable read/write errors.  The utility disk works fine though.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find an uncracked adf of the CSB game disk?  I know that his is piracy, but I do own the originals and would really love to play the game again.

It's not piracy if you own the originals, even if they are damaged. You paid for the software.

Uncracked...you're probably out of luck. Almost all of the ADFs on the internet are cracked. Your best hope would to be find a site with the WHD'd game already packaged and archived. Back2roots may do this, but it won't be soon, unfortunately - if ever.

Hmm I thought that might be the case.  Has anyone found any cracked game disks that they can get to work?

(I suppose no-one is going to answer that as it's kind of admitting to piracy).  Oh well, I shall keep searching.

I had the original game also.
I still have that little golden coin that came in the box.
Also, I have the utility disk, but not the game disk.
That was LONG ago..

It is available for download here:

There is also lots of other very cool stuff about all of the dungeon master games available at this site.
Have fun!
