Indivision ECS in amiga 500
« on: April 15, 2016, 05:05:27 AM »
Who has an indivision ECS in there 500.   Whats the revision of the MB ?  I tried putting one in a  Rev 5 mb with no luck.  Also broke it when I pressed down too hard.  (a little inductor on the bottom broke off and  I can't find out the value to get a replacement)

I just want to know if you had any problems when you installed it.

I have used mine in A500, and then moved it to an A2000 and now it sits in an A600, no problem whatsoever with the installation. The revision i used of the A500 mobo is 6A iirc.

If you want to fix it yourself you could try to contact Jens and ask about the component, he was very helpfull with the component details when i contacted him and asked about an X-surf i was attempting to repair.

A500, 6A, and A2000, 6.4, no problems in either.
