Has to be Daley Thompsons Decathlon, the only game where you wobble the joystick so much it feels like your going to break it :-)
-
There is an excellent Amiga PD game which came out about 10 years ago called Joystick. it was so cool! It was 2 player and whoever moved the joystick back and forth the most times within the time limit won!
A true joystick breaker :-D
-
Rainbow Islands because it was one of the few games which was better on the C64 than the Amiga, and because I can't get it to run on my A1200.
-
wizball!
and perhaps a nice plattformgame ala
giana sisters or something....
everything is so 3d focused nowadays,
and thats nice but i miss the 2d
plattformgames and the shoot em ups..
yes, i would love a massive mega super
giga arcade shoot em up

Maniac Mansion (adventure, rescue a friend from an evil meteor!)

Zork (Hey, did anyone mention gfx-card?)
And for them spending too much time on the dark side:

Beachhead
Jumpman
Shamus
Raid over Moscow
Raid over Bungelon Bay
Fort Apocolyps

Am I the only one who loves Pirates ?
If you've played the Amiga version (or worse: on pc), try it on C64 if you can. It runs somewhat slow, but it's still the best version. (The CD32-v is possibly better, I haven't tryed it yet.)

Pirates! kicked ass. I always used to select the Wit and Charm speciality so I could get the hot flashy chick :-D. BTW does anyone remember SWAT?
-
None.
But I would like to see a C64 emulator that enables me to run c64 game binaries straight off the amiga HDD by licking on their icon.
(Same for HW banging A500 games.)
-
M.U.L.E.!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Licking an Icon? Is that something new and original for the AmigaOne?
Still would like a good update to Elite. The C64 version was the best!

IF we are talking about a REMAKE for the AmigaOne my favourite must be......
*** STUNTCAR RACER ***
I loved that game and although I played it on the A-500 it was also available for the C=64.
It would be awesome if it could be done in a new version with multiplayer via tcp/ip, some upgraded graphics and diffrent cars...
That game was soo much fun in multiplayer mode...

A classic example which shows that gameplay, the way it works, is much more important than graphics. A superb game.

Love Pirates!
Only played the amigaversion though, what´s the differnce between them?
Last Ninja
first computer game i ever played, on a friends C64.
-
Impossible Mission 1

Epyx had some really great games

Yes, YES oh YES! That was a hoot!! Playing against 3 other people, mindbogglingly simple and yet sophisticated. No other computer, until mass playing on the internet, could do what the C=64 did. That's what the AmigaOne needs, 4 joystick ports!!!
Also (kooky choice) Temple of Apshai, and the Wizardry/Ultima series. Space Panic.
Then there's this game where a little guy runs around, going up and down ladders, jumping gaps, I think over flames, and the key to knowing if the name is right is the guy had a triangular hat, he looked like wizard. Maybe JUMPMAN?
Amiga! C=64, A1, Nirvana!
-
MULE is cool, though I prefer Sub Trade...
-
......-=NONE=-......
-
If I am correct then Cabal was also on the Amiga and C64. Not sure for wich computer it was first. Really great game. You could play together against the enemy.

Eons ago, it seems, my wife fell in love with "Little Computer People" on the C64. It's the _only_ computer application she's ever been comfortable with! So, now I have recently acquired another C64 to replace the one my son stole from me and sold ( :-o !!!), I'd dearly love to find that program again. Is it already available on the Amiga? If it is, perhaps I'd be better off finding a secondhand Amiga instead. Then I could FINALLY join the Amiga revolution (only about 15 years later than intended). Advice, anyone? :-?
-
Stunt car racer is def a must....
I think we gotta have some Monkey Island on there!!
-
@linchpin.....
how about bmx simulator
I'd love to see a modern version of chuckie egg
-
I would like to see FA/18 Interceptor on A1. It's not a c64 game but it's still the best flight simulator I have ever played :-)
-
Since when have we been able to post anonymous on A.O.
If this is the case then it's a bad move IMO, look at ANN.
-
Heh BMX rules!!!
And Enduro Racer :-)
-
@Skyraker
I was thinking the same thing...
-
IIRC this is due way this baord system work. When people ask their Accounts to be removed (as a protest) their old postings become 'Anonymous'.
-
LCP is available but only works on the A500 IIRC.
My choice: Trailblazer.

He! He! You fools! You have missed a defining game for the C64! Kikstart 2! Shame on you people! :-D

Then you never played "Bedroon Olympiad"?
If anyone still has a copy of that game, give me a shout as I've lost mine :-(
-
kickstart 2 , MAYHEM in mosnterland (best c64 game ever :D) , ELITE , stunt car racer!
thats what i wish for.
i would love to get VICE ported to amigaone! so that we could emulate c64 properly atleast!
-
Dont forget Creatures 2 and retrograde .. ;) and i guess creatures as well, since the amiga version as it is stank in comparison ;) Hell, all the Amiga versions of thalamous games stank lets have em all remade ;)

You can download suitable material from the Internet. You won't even need any extra hardware unless you're a 'girl' ;-)
Might be wise to have the number of the nearest hospital to hand in case you break your joystick (your expression might be something like this: :boohoo:).

"Trapdoor" I should really try and dig that out someday. :)
-
Little Computer People was great. I loved that game. There is an Amiga version, and I think it's freely distributable at Back to the Roots. One of my other favorites was Pole Position, but the 2 greatest games for the C64 were handsdown:
Puzzle Panic
Ultimate Wizard
I would love to see those games updated for the A1.
-
I can't believe no-one mentioned "Infiltrator" by Chris Gray. That game rocked.
-
Nothing.
If I want to play an old game,I use an emulator.
For AmigaONE I want new game and the port of great games like MaxPayne,Hitman,Unreal, etc etc.
