« on: July 20, 2020, 11:28:20 AM »
This was working properly before.

When assignwedge asks to mount, assign, cancel, etc,  If I select cancel, I get a guru.

Cause: Memory header not located

Tried snoopdos:

The only fails are the following:

Found the reason. It is MCP New Gadtools option. It causes the guru.

EDIT: This is not the reason.

After reboot it crashed again after trying to assign a random qwerty:  and clicking cancel.

It seems like it only does not crash if I open mcpprefs once and save.

No idea, but if it helps, attached is the MCP v1.39 configuration I've been using without problems for years with this A4000T/060.  Now with OS3.1.4, previously 3.9.

You'll need to rename it to MCP.config and copy it to ENVARC:MCP2/MCP.config
Obviously backup your existing config first.

I'm also running MCP from WBstartup.  Failing that, you could try disabing some of the non-standard stuff in startup-sequence to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks, I solved the problem by disabling a setting inside MCP but I don't remember which one. Probably assignwedge. I will check.

I already have reqchange installed so assignwedge functionality is already there.
