Any good WW2 games to be recommended for the miggy?

Almost any genre is fine.

Without a question it has to be Wings. OK i know this is technically WW1 but this is the best war game ever. But you must already know this already ;)
Even my cat doesn\'t like me.

oooh I couldn't remember if Wings was WW1 or WW2 actually, but hey Wings is just full of WIN, hell it contains WIN in the letters so it must be :)

Yeah, Wings is WW1.  (Though agreed, completely awesome.)

Fighter Duel Pro 2 is WW2, though.  (Not really any campaigns, but the best pure flight sim for Amiga, IMHO.  A whole bunch of WW2 era planes in the last version.)

'The Train: Escape to Normandy' was kinda fun.  But I think I played that on C64.

Cannon Fodder wasn't officially set in WW2, but always looked it, to me, at least.

I think that Amiga had few WWII games, all companies did much plataform and arcade games, fast, commercial, if you want playing WWII games, only you find them in Windos, strategic, FP shooter, handle/driving tanks, aircrafts, or in the role soldier, only in Windos, also in the consoles, but they have the same problems that the Amiga had, games to playing fast and with friends.
Amiga 500 with ROMs 1.3-2.05 and M-Tec AT 500 with hard disk and 4MB Ram.
WinUAE + Original OS 3.5&3.9
Sam440ep 800 MHZ + OS 4.1 F.E.
Sam460ex 1 GHz + OS 4.1 + Update 6. K.O.
MacMini 1.5 GHz + MorphOS 3.9
PowerBook G4 1.65 + MorphOS 3.9

Hi,

I always liked Silent Service

Slow with a lot of thinking, but when the action starts hold on to your Asskum.

I have no idea what your talking about, so here is a doggy with a small pancake on his head.

MorphOS is a MAC done a little better

Hi,

Yes it is, and believe me, it is one of the few games I play that seems slow (actually is) but it requires more brain power than fiddle fingers. You actually got to plot your course, get in close enough to hit by planning a strategy, and then plan a way to get away from those dammy destroyers.

And remember during your game play you just have to duck Karlos.

LucasArts impeccable Battlehawks: 1942 gets my vote.  It's less a flight sim and more of a first person shooter in the air (although some basic flight sim rules do apply).

It was one of the first flight games I ever thought worked vastly better with a mouse than a joystick (A10 Tank Killer was the other).  The manual was gorgeous, not only detailing the missions but outlining the historical perspective and peppered with first-person accounts and historical photographs.

I highly recommend it.

There was also an M4 Sherman simulator in the vein of M1 Tank Platoon but I never played it.
Back away from the EU-SSR!
