uploading Alphaversion of "Realms of Power"
« on: July 28, 2004, 10:51:45 AM »
Hi!

I currently consider to upload the current AlphaVersion of my game "Realms of Power". It's not a demo. Many thing doesn´t work now or are not fully implemented...

You can explore the map, build towns, units, houses and roads. There are no computer players and loading/saving is not implemented...

Would it be interesting? Would someone be inspired to join our team?

Any suggestions?

Just tried it on the Peg, and it does work, but ......

The "%s" in the sea/land-relation should be swapped.

Currently the 1st (left) number for land grows when I move the slider
right (towards Water)   :nervous:

The menu-system s##### sorry, but better use standard (Intuition) menus, or come up with something better.

What Screenmode are you useing ?? My TFT just don't like it....
Add an ScreenMode-requster, allowing to use a standard 800x600 resultion (even if it means black borders).

There should be a better way to get to the next round as that requster that I get when I moved all units.

Yes I know there is the menu, but thats still to impractible.

So lots of good work done, still more to do.......
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Thats the way I want it. The part of the slider left to the "button" is Land and the part right is water...

The game uses a 800x600/15 or 16 bit resolution. The one which is founded by CGX/P96 in your screenmode settings...

Have you tried the "ESC" key?
