Just to add a positive view.
Auto login fine on Phone, Tablet and PC. All running Windows and IE.

Chrome for Android works too.

Well I say "works" but both Chrome and Firefox have a weird issue.

I login and it says welcome Nicholas etc then it shows me the homepage and it appears that I'm not logged in, but when I click on posts I am actually logged in.

If it's any consolation Morphzone is having the same trouble at the moment.

Could it be a problem with the version of vBulletin both sites are using?

MorphZone doesn't use vBulletin.

Must just be a coincidence.

Seems the issue has been fixed? At least I now stay logged in during the same browser session.

This is not fixed or has resurfaced, at least for me. I'm only able to log in by finding somewhere with a Remember Me box. The login at the top of the home page, appears to work, but redirects back to the home page where it appears I have not logged in, except that I appear in the Online Users list.

I've tried multiple computers and browsers. It's not inconceivable my ISP could have something wrongly cached.

You are actually logged in then, if you click any of the threads in the Recent Threads (or any link at all) and then just go back will find yourself logged in on the index page as well.
