Acill,

Then contact one of the dealers involved and ask.  No sense dragging up crap that's 6 years old, that had nothing to do with the Bill and Fleecy show, and that the dealers probably cannot comment about publicly.  That is, if the case even went to conclusion (considering Gateway dumped Amiga immediately afterwords).

If you were truly interested in what happened, and not just wallowing in the past to troll up dead issues, you would have, and could have simply looked up the case numbers and all that to find out the conclusion.  You could have asked the original site's posters, etcetera.

We would love to know what happened, and if you lack the abilities to look this information up, I'm sure someone here would be willing to help, but starting a thread with the topic of "Dealers sue Amiga over deceptive trade practices, fraud" (which I am about to edit) is misleading and at least seems akin to trolling.

edit :  my personal bet is that since Gateway closed down their Amiga project shortly afterwards, the case was dropped, dismissed, or otherwise ended without result.  I would even bet that this lawsuit weighed in the minds of Gateway when it came to shutting down Collas and crew.

If there are any dealers here who were involved, please jump in and let us know (if you can) before this topic gets out of hand.

@Acill,

Don't get the wrong idea.  It's not what you said (I think almost everyone here would be interested to know what actually happened there), it's simply the method you chose for saying it that seemed a little bit trollish.

No harm, no foul.
