« on: May 10, 2014, 06:44:15 AM »
On April 6 at the Vintage Computer Festival East 9.1 in Wall, New Jersey, producer Zach Weddington showed extended clips from his long-awaited movie, "Viva Amiga".  He spoke on what it took to create the movie, the trivia behind the filming.  To see his presentation, go to

Why on earth did they use FastTracker II to play a mod file?
Didnt they know we have lots of very good mod players on the Amiga?

Interesting bit of news. Thanks for the submission.

Ouch, hope it's only temporarily there. Little embarrassing otherwise, because FastTracker was hated competitor. Mod is an Amiga format and Amiga played mods with almost no cpu load, unlike PC and its crap tracker clones :) Takes some credibility from the film...
Daily MorphOS user and Amiga active.

Does anyone know what the MOD playing on 06:30 is called. It is not "Satellite One" by Purple Motion, which is strange. I would really like to know. It sounds awesome! :)

Due to the imminent release of the video commercially, I was asked to delete any Viva Amiga footage from the video preview.  This has been done, and you can find the re-edited video with the new title, "Weddington talks about Viva Amiga", at
