Game compatibility

If I buy a game from the UK will it work on an A500 here in the US? Thanks in advance for your help. BTW, I only have 21 minutes to bid!   ;-)

A NTSC game works on a PAL machine (though not with a lightgun), but I do not think it'll work vice versa, since PAL has a higher resolution.

If you have a monitor capable of displaying PAL video and the Enhanced Chipset (ECS) then you can use it.  There is a utility on the Aminet for booting in PAL mode:  Tiny PAL/NTSC.  There may be others as well.

You don't need a program to boot into PAL mode.

Hold down both mouse buttons, and click on Display Options... then under the field Display Type click on the PAL radio botton, click on Use, then click on Boot. :-D
