Aegis Sonix
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:11:10 AM »
Hi Guys,
Who cannot remember the amazing app Sonix? I've made music with it and back then I played this song "Take it easy" a lot. It's not the song from The Eagles by the way... I was wondering who owned this song.

Cheers!
Edwin

I still use Aegis Sonix (brilliant program)... :)

Got hundreds of songs in my collection but not "Take It Easy"... :(

Who owns or wrote most of them !!! dunno as it very rarely ever said who the composer was for most Sonix songs, not sure if your trying to find this song again or just wondering who the composer was... :)

I was just experiencing this program for the first time, listening to the example tune that comes with it and playing with the controls just half an hour ago! What an odd coincidence. And I thought it was a very interesting and impressive program, lots of fun to play with, and the notation editor is a nice break from the usual tracker programs.

Here's a couple of wee tunes I began writing with Ageis Sonix many years ago but never got round to finishing (maybe one of these days)... :)

Well I've got an Elephant & Zoo 9 to 5:30 pm so there... :p

Only kidding, managed to hear it on Apples iTunes store, (all the other links wouldn't play for some reason (Leopard, OS 10.5 & Safari 5.06)... :)

As to you're original question "Who owns it", still none the wiser I'm afraid... :(

The first music piece I ever wrote on the Amiga was on Sonix.  A monk chant with strings thing.  Quite nice I thought.  That would have been in '89.

BTW Franko I think Evanescence stole you first song and used it as backing for "My Imortal".
