 looking for a relatively inexpensive Accelerator for my A1200 that includes a RAM socket. ANybody have any reccomendations?

Blizzard 1230/50Mhz - You should be able to pick one up quite cheap on the second-hand market (less than 50 quid)

It's got one SIMM socket that will accept a 72-pin SIMM up to 128MB in size, and you can add another one with the Blizzard SCSI kit.

get a microbiotics 68030/50mhz, they can hold a lot of RAM (up to 128MB but it has to be on a single SIMM and those are oversized, so you're probably limited to 32MB in most configurations - but on an Amiga, that's quite a bit.

these are great accels, auto-config and fast.  The only disadvantage is that (really just like with any other A1200 accel) you need a bigger power supply, the standard one just doesn't generate enough juice.

Some Blizzard 1230 50 MHz accelerators have been going for more than £100 on e-bay recently...

I have on spare if you want to make an offer???
