Post by: trekiej on February 09, 2018, 08:22:45 PM
if I wanted to build a small PC to act like a CD32, would it handle disc changes automatically?

Yes it will act like a real CD32.

Yes. It will work exactly like a real CD32. In settings, you can choose Auto for type of media.
So you can mount iso's, if you insert a CD, it will use that.

Thanks, I have used it a little. It seems the A4000 config. works with AB: Tower Assault better than CD32.

Add Fast RAM to CD32 Config. Should give same effect.
Microcosm with Fast RAM is nice, as the scrolling background runs smooth as silk.

However alot of games wont work with fastram. On my A1200, I have got the CD32 Emulator to work with all the trimmings and every single game. So they get all the benefit of the faster CPU and RAM.

I guess CD32 games were designed to use more ram if available.
