yes go to "Input Preferences" and at the right of the window select Devorak. its working for me. dont know how I managed on the qwerty keyboard, and an added benefit, is no one else wants to use my computer.

Thank you for the pic, but why the keys have this distribution?

Mr. Dvorak thinks it's better for your hands, it more evenly distributes the work over both instead of making the left hand do most of it.  Type for a while and pay attention to your hands, you'll see the left really is doing most of the work.
3 Commodore file cabinets, 2 Commodore USB turntables, 1 AmigaWorld beer mug
Alienware M14x i7 laptop running AmigaForever

Your right hand is sore because you have been wanking too much. That's why you are using your left more than your right  :roflmao:

I think he was actually referring to secretaries when he claimed it more evenly distributes the work load over both hands. I'm quite sure you are not one of these. Are you? :roflmao:

Anyway i am willing to trust statistics over your own observations. The qwerty keyboard was never meant to be used in an efficient way but the dvorak is. So i think the dvorak is still more efficient than qwerty. I'm thinking i may have to get some stickers for my keyboard and have a bash around...

The qwerty keyboard was designed for the old typewriters that had a mechanical movement which required some precision so the arms that struck the page did not get tangled.

Exactly, and the dvorak was designed using complex stats designed for efficiency and not reliability like the qwerty was.
